Why I'm Running

My career has been about public service to improve the quality of life for the people of West Michigan. I work everyday understanding and solving the problems facing West Michigan whether it is in economic development, reducing poverty, restoring our environment, improving education or helping a constituent who is having trouble with their government.

We all recognize that we are at a critical point in the next chapter for the state of Michigan. In the age of term limits, we need to elect representatives that can have an immediate impact for our area.

I have lead public policy efforts at the highest level in Washington, D.C. I have sat with employers who were on the verge of cutting jobs unless action was taken and delivered. I know what being your representative takes and have a record of delivering results for our communities.
